Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today on Press Face Sunday State Week, Chuck Todd booked wingnut conspiracy-monger Erick Erickson to complain about conspiracy theories. Also, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) said the God-King should be “more clear” in his verbal sewage and Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) yet again criticized Rep. Maxine Waters’ call for peaceful protest, which Coons described as “aggressive advocacy.” But the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin draws a bright, clear line between violence, incitement, and peaceful protest and Julia Ioffe asks us to ponder the God-King’s responsibility for the massacre in Pittsburgh, while Slate’s Daniel Politi reminds us that Fox News spent all week drum-beating the conspiracy theory that sparked the Pittsburgh gunman, as did … Erick Erickson. How can we convince the Bishops of Both-Sides-ism that there is a moral distinction between advocating peaceful protest and celebrating political violence?
