Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) released a DNA test that confirmed her family lore of a Native American ancestor “6-10 generations ago.” Back in July, the God-King promised to donate $1 million to a charity of Warren’s choice but today he denied that promise and declared “who cares?” and of course conservatives are now moving the goal posts. Yet Warren never gained any advantage by claiming Native American ancestry, unlike House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, whose company used a brother-in-law’s fraudulent claim of Native American status to win $7 million in no-bid federal contracts.
And today the Florida Supreme Court ruled that the next governor – not departing Gov. Rick Scott – will appoint replacements for the Court’s three retiring liberal justices, while polls show Democrat Andrew Gillum leads Republican Ron DeSantis by about 4% among likely voters.
Will Republicans continue to attack Warren’s ancestry … and ignore McCarthy’s fraud?
