Today the Los Angeles Times reported that a company owned by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has won over $7 million in no-bid contracts for the military and other federal agencies … based on a fraudulent claim of Native American ancestry by McCarthy’s brother-in-law. Also, the Saudi government threatened to raise oil prices to $200 a barrel “or even more” if the U.S. attempts to punish the Saudis for the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, whom the Turkish government says was murdered and dismembered in the Saudi’s Istanbul consulate. Will House Republicans sanction McCarthy, and will God-King bow to Saudi threats?
