Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today the God-Prince mocked Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault when the two were in high school, while Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) criticized Democrats for not violating Ford’s privacy until she chose to come forward. Also, Kavanaugh issued another denial and Senate Republicans want to explore Ford’s accusation in private phone calls, while Democrats demanded a reopening of confirmation hearings. FiveThirtyEight’s Janie Velencia reports on Kavanaugh’s shaky poll numbers while The Cut’s Rebecca Traister writes on the largely-ignored anger simmering in American women and Alexandra Petri lampoons the White House statement that crediting Ford’s accusation would put “every man” in peril. Will Ford derail the Kavanaugh Express?
