Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today on Meet Union Face Sunday This: Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum (D) said “I won’t get into the gutter and name call” when asked if GOP opponent Ron DeSantis is racist, and said “I want to make sure that we don’t racialize and, frankly, weaponize race as a part of this process,” while DeSantis said Gillum is “on the far-left socialist fringe” and “wants to turn Florida into Venezuela.” Also, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said it’s hard to make deals with Senate Republicans because they’re “afraid of pissing off President Trump” and the Boston Globe reported that Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s claim of Native American ancestry played no role her hiring process at Harvard Law School. And Paul Manafort’s staunchly-Democratic daughter filed papers to change her last name to Bond, her mother’s maiden name. Are Democrats “blowing winnable governor’s races” by nominating people of color such as Ben Jealous in Maryland, Stacey Abrams in Georgia, David Garcia in Arizona, and Gillum in Florida?
