Today Bloomberg/Quint’s Chris Strohm reported that special counsel Robert Mueller has hired more prosecutors and investigators to handle the work of the expanding Trump-Russia probe and Vox’s Andrew Prokop reported that the probe now includes the money trail of the God-King’s most-expensive-ever inauguration. Also, a federal judge in California upheld two of the state’s recent ‘sanctuary city’ laws and partially upheld a third, rejecting a Department of Justice lawsuit. And scandal-plagued EPA Director Scott Pruitt resigned. Which of these stories will have the most lasting impact?
