Today the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Ohio’s voter purge law in an ideological 5-4 decision, letting Ohio mail out postcards after a single missed federal election and purge voters who neither return the postcard nor vote in the next two federal elections, but Justice Sonia Sotomayor threw a lifeline by noting the plaintiffs in Husted v. A. Philip Randolph Institute did not make a racial discrimination argument. Meanwhile, Outhouse officials are in damage control mode after the God-King’s Twitter tantrum at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, although an Outhouse insider said the God-King’s foreign policy doctrine is: “We’re America, Bitch.” Does that fit the U.S.-as-Dad ‘strict father’ worldview that I offered this morning?
