Today Salem Media fired most RedState writers in an ideological purge – almost all anti-Trumpers got the axe – disguised as a cost-cutting measure and former editor Erick Erickson has invited them to join him at The Resurgent, while yet another high-profile outlet, the Washington Post, published a Kevin Williamson whine about being silenced. In actual news news, Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong-un agreed on a framework to formally end the Korean War and denuclearize the peninsula, and Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-PA) announced his immediate resignation and promised to repay $39,000 that his office spent to settle a sexual harassment claim. And Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who met with the God-King’s campaign advisors, admitted to NBC News that she has long been a Kremlin intelligence asset, but Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee insisted there was “no collusion.” Did any of these stories surprise you?
