Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today on Union Meet Week Face Sunday, Sen. Angus King (I-ME) said the God-King didn’t offer any evidence of chemical weapons use before ordering a missile strike on Syria and Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) said she would be “uncomfortable” if the God-King sent U.S. ground troops to intervene in that civil war. Also, former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said the God-King doesn’t understand attorney-client privilege and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said “it would not hurt if we passed legislation to send a message to the White House that we want the [Mueller] investigation to continue,” but she also noted that the God-King would veto the bill and parroted the conservative myth that the bills might be unconstitutional. And retiring Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) bragged about cutting taxes for rich people and about the House’s failed bill to cut health care for working families. Does anyone seriously think the God-King would hesitate to do anything merely because a few Republican leaders are “uncomfortable” or “concerned?”
