Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

This week an 88-year-old North Carolina man learned that the VA thinks he’s dead and a Romanian court ruled that a 63-year-old man waited too long to challenge his ex-wife’s declaration of his death, so he’s still legally dead. Also, Louis the Gorilla at the Philadelphia Zoo walks upright to keep his hands out of the mud puddle in his habitat and a Rhode Island state lawmaker withdrew his bill to ban outhouses. And an Indiana man was arrested after he took a cab to and back home from a bank robbery, but an Alabama sheriff won’t be arrested for siphoning $750,000 from money appropriated to feed jail inmates – he used the money to buy a beach house – because a World War II-era state law allows him to keep the “excess.” So a gorilla is this week’s most intelligent weird news guy?
