Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today a Monmouth University poll found Conor Lamb (D) leading Rick Saccone (R) in Pennsylvania U.S. House special election. The size of Lamb’s lead varies from 49-47 with typical midterm turnout to 51-45 if turnout matches recent special elections. What’s more, the poll shows that the God-King’s proposed steel tariffs are not changing voters’ minds and Pennsylvania GOP chair Val DiGiorgio is now claiming PA-18 is “a Democratic district,” never mind that the God-King won there by 20 points and Republicans have held that seat for a decade. But Vox’s Ella Nilsen notes that Lamb’s platform has been pro-guns, including an ad with him holding an AR-15. Would a Lamb victory strengthen or weaken Democrats’ case for stronger gun control?
