Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today on Week Face Union Meet Sunday, Reince Priebus concern-trolled Democrats about discussing impeachment (and, by implication, any other issue Democratic voters care about). But Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said the God-King is “trying to have it both ways” on guns and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called on the God-King to “propose something” on gun safety, adding “Republicans have an obligation to work with Democrats to make it law if we can,” while Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) praised the young Americans standing up to the gun lobby, saying “the more they push, the better chance we have of getting something done to have greater gun safety and better protection for everybody in our country” and admitted he may challenge the God-King for the GOP nomination in 2020, saying “all options are on the table.” Meanwhile, Republicans are pulling ads touting their tax cuts leading up to the March 13th special election in PA-18 and focusing on immigrant- and race-baiting attacks on Democrat Conor Lamb, who is running neck-and-neck with Republican Rick Saccone in a district the God-King won by 20 points in 2016. Will Republicans’ intransigence on gun safety contribute to a blue wave in November?
