Today the New York Times reported that special counsel Robert Mueller’s team have interviewed Klanmaster General Jeff Sessions as part of their probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Vox’s Andrew Prokop offers analysis, saying we don’t yet know if Sessions is a target of Mueller’s probe but the interview will have put Sessions on notice. Also, the Washington Post’s Mike DeBonis reports that a bipartisan group of Senators are ready to work on a DACA deal but cautions that no such group exists in the House, where hardliners are pushing a bill that could cut legal immigration by up to 40%. Will Congress pass – and the God-King sign – a DACA bill before the next government shutdown deadline?
