Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) released the full transcript of Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson’s testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee, as Simpson and his partner Peter Fritsch requested in a New York Times op-ed on January 2nd. Of course Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and other Republicans were furious that Sen. Feinstein acted without consulting them, although last week he and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called for a criminal investigation of former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS without consulting any Democrats on the committee. The full transcript revealed that the FBI gave credence to Steele’s work because they already had a source inside the Trump organization, and that source was probably George Papadopoulos, who in May of 2016 told an Australian diplomat that the Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton. Will the God-King and Republicans now demand legal action against Sen. Feinstein for blowing up their myth that the Steele dossier began the FBI investigation?
