Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today on This Sunday Meet Union Knee, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said NFL players “have the right to have the First Amendment off the field”, unlike Christians who insist they can defy federal and state civil rights laws because First Amendment. But scores of NFL athletes knelt or linked arms or even stayed in the locker room to defy the God-King’s diktat that players must stand for the National Anthem or be fired. Also, the NCAA men’s basketball champion University of North Carolina Tarheels joined the NBA champion Golden State Warriors in refusing to visit the White House and Oakland Athletics’ catcher Bruce Maxwell knelt during the anthem last night, as did the entire Garfield High School football team in Seattle last Friday. Are athletes showing America how to stand up to social injustice … and the God-King’s bullying?
