Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Chris Coons (D-DE) introduced a bill that would limit the God-King’s ability to fire special counsel Robert Mueller. This comes as National Security Director H.R. McMaster is pushing the God-King’s loyalists out of the National Security Council, what The Atlantic’s Rosie Gray describes as “cleaning house” and The Weekly Standard’s Mike Warren calls “going to the mattresses” with Steve Bannon. Meanwhile, the Washington Post’s James Hohmann reports that House and Senate Republicans seem ready to reassert their constitutional prerogatives over the God-King and CNBC’s John Harwood reports:

Increasingly, federal officials are deciding to simply ignore President Donald Trump.

As stunning as that sounds, fresh evidence arrives every day of the government treating the man elected to lead it as someone talking mostly to himself.

Rather than impeachment, are we watching an … ignorement?
