Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today the God-Prince agreed to testify for both the Senate and House Intelligence Committee probes, after Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said their committees would want such interviews. The Washington Post’s Aaron Blake reports that the God-Prince’s admission contradicts numerous denials by the God-King and his aides and POLITICO’s Darren Samuelsohn reports that the God-Prince may have violated federal campaign laws that forbid soliciting “anything of value” – such as dirt on an opposing candidate – from a “foreign entity,” while Vox’s Andrew Prokop notes that the New York Times’ sources for the original story were three Outhouse insiders. Is Josh Marshall correct that the leakers hoped to “get ahead of something much more damaging or get a first crack at shaping the public understanding of something much more damaging?”
