Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today on This Press State Sunday Face, Outhouse aide Kellyanne Conway was “very confident” Senate Republicans will pass the Wealthcare Act this week and insisted that block-granting Medicaid with a per-capita cap below the rate of health care inflation was not “cuts to Medicaid.” But Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said “It’s hard for me to see the bill passing this week” and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said “We should not be voting on this next week,” adding “We don’t have enough information,” while Sen. Rand Paul (R-TN) said “This is not anywhere close to a repeal” of Obamacare and he’s a ‘No’ vote “at this point.” And Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Senate Republicans have “at best a 50/50 chance of passing this bill.” What odds would you place on the Wealthcare Act passing the Senate this week?
