Today CNN reported that Russian officials believed “they had the ability to influence the [Trump] administration through the derogatory information” while New York Magazine’s Jonathan Chait noted “The most innocent explanations of Donald Trump’s shadowy relationship with Russia have grown increasingly fanciful, while the most paranoid interpretations have grown increasingly more plausible,” and ABC reports that House and Senate committees are now looking at the God-King’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen. In response, the God-King retweeted an anonymously-sourced Fox News story as if it were unimpeachable fact and fired his communications director, while the Washington Post’s Philip Bump offers a detailed, documented timeline of the tangled God-King-Russia story. Will Robert Mueller and House and Senate investigators be allowed to get to the bottom of this?
