Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today … well:

A paying passenger was assaulted for refusing to yield his seat to an airline employee. Since no one volunteered to leave the flight, he was “randomly chosen by a computer” to volunteer his seat. When he refused, saying he was a doctor who needed to see patients in the morning, police were called to forcibly remove him. The man’s head was slammed into his armrest, and other passengers said he was barely conscious as he was dragged off the plane. The flight was delayed two hours, in part to clean up the doctor’s blood. The doctor was then allowed to reboard.

What do you think of this new volunteerism?
