Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today’s big news is an historic event that may change, forever, how Americans respond to what they see on TV. It was something so profound, so shocking, so unprecedented, that nothing will ever be the same again. Indeed future scholars will divide the whole of human experience into two eras, “before” and “after,” on an equal footing with “B.C.” and “A.D.,” or “pre-9/11” and “post-9/11.” Yes, sit down before you read the end of this sentence, lest you injure yourself as you faint … last night a cable news host overhyped a story. Seriously. That’s the Big Story as of 5pm:

I suppose I should care about this but … honestly … I don’t.
Yes, Rachel Maddow overhyped a story. As if cable news hosts don’t do that every day. They’re almost as bad as local TV news hype: “Could something you eat almost every night for dinner … be killing you? We’ll let you know, tonight at six….”
Yawn.
Excuse me, media pundits, am I supposed to be shocked by this? Yeesh.
In social chatter, I went digging today, and found something! https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/b60c4581936445fe86332e9baa988e7986b55f111b4ba2669dab7ab4e4a59bfb.jpg
WOW!
Holy cow!
She’s probably one of the smartest human beings ever. They had cable at the away from home terminal lodging. I miss Rachael!
You can watch her the next day at MSNBC.com
The cooks are gone tonight. They think I’m helpless. I am enjoying French toast made outta blueberry muffins, 1 t powdered sugar and maple syrup atop. Delicious! (If I do say so myself)…
I like Rachel. I think she is wicked smart. So hype is over the top if she does it but fine if everyone else does? I call BS.
