Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today the Washington Post reported that, in December, National Security Adviser Michael Flynn talked with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak about lifting U.S. sanctions on Russia, despite Flynn’s later denials. The Post’s reporting cited nine present and former intelligence officials who listened to the conversations and described the discussion of sanctions as “explicit,” raising the question of whether Flynn lied to the Vice-God-King or whether the Vice-God-King lied during his appearance on Face the Nation. The discussion may well have violated the Logan Act, which prohibits non-government employees from engaging in foreign policy, and revived a scandal that the God-King hoped the media had forgotten. With his royal court committing blunder after blunder, who will be the first kicked off the island in Survivor: West Wing?
