Midday Matinee – Michelle Obama
This was a remarkable speech. I watched it early this morning and had to fight tears back. What an amazing woman. I hope she and her husband don’t entirely disappear from public life, although I’d certainly understand if they want to.
Their legacy is going to be the measuring stick against which other Presidents and First Ladies will be judged for a long time to come. There’ve been quite a few in my life, but the Obamas have given us something truly special to admire and aspire to.
I agree wholeheartedly. She can really remind us to keep fighting.
