Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today on Meet Union Face Sunday This, Secretary of Defense Ash Carter said the Russians “haven’t done anything” to fight ISIS in Syria and instead is merely propping up the Assad government. Also, Sen. Lindsey Graham (D-SC) said the Lapdog-elect is denying and defending Russia’s election-meddling campaign because “he’s worried that inquiring into what Russia did in the election is going to undermine his credibility and his legitimacy,” but Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said “There is no one who is more undermining the legitimacy of the Trump presidency than Donald Trump himself.” And White House Chief of Staff-to-be Reince Priebus said “I think he accepts the findings” of the intelligence community yet still denied that Russia intervened to help the Lapdog-elect, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the Lapdog-elect’s “hopes [for a ‘Russian reset’] will be dashed pretty quickly, adding “The Russians are clearly a big adversary, and they demonstrated it by trying to mess around in our election.” How much will it take to convince the media – and Republicans – that the Lapdog-elect admires and wants to emulate Putin and Russia’s authoritarian model of government?
