Today the Washington Post’s David Fahrenthold reported that President-elect Donald Trump’s 2015 IRS filing admitted to violating a federal law against self-dealing with the Trump Foundation. Also, Trump met with the New York Times for a jaw-dropping interview, where he all-but admitted he’ll use the White House to make his businesses richer, saying: “The law’s totally on my side: the president can’t have a conflict of interest.” Also, campaign chair Kellyanne Conway said Trump won’t try to prosecute Hillary Clinton after all, which has right-wingers in a tizzy. Is Trump systematically undermining the norms that underpin democratic government?
