Anjali Forber-Pratt is a Paralympic gold medalist. In this video, she talks about her challenges, and how through time people have fought to improve access to facilities by the physically disabled. The takeaway from this video is an uplifting story of progress. There is hope as long as people fight to make things better. Enjoy!
Something a little different for fans today. This is a really uplifting video and instructive about how fighting for transformation in society can and will eventually pay off. We’ve seen this recently with “gay-marriage”. I think that issues for transgendered people will be the fight of the decade. Hopefully it resolves more quickly, especially now that gay marriage is no longer a major issue, and people are beginning to see how it really isn’t harming society for gays to have equal rights.
I don’t know why societies seem to always have one group of “untouchables”. A group that needs to be stepped on by everyone else. I think that America is better than that.
