Today a gunman was taken into custody after opening fire at the Capitol, where a woman was injured by bullet fragments. Also, the Secret Service refused to allow guns at the GOP convention, and even the National Review’s Charles Cooke said there’s no good reason to allow guns at that venue, especially with Donald Trump urging his supporters to violence. And an Ohio gun store owner helped prevent a mass shooting by refusing to sell a gun to the would-be shooter. Should we rely on gun store owners’ exceptional vigilance and judgment?
