Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today the right wing media divided into “unblinking, unthinking propagandists and … combat journalists” amidst a wave of resignations after Breitbart News betrayed a reporter who was attacked by a Trump aide. Indeed Breitbart News published a hit piece against former editor Ben Shapiro, under the false byline of Shapiro’s own father. Also, a North Carolina sheriff denied reports they may charge Trump with incitement and Trump denied the violence at his rallies. Will the attack on a reporter force the media to address Trump’s violent rhetoric?

As long as Trump supporters were merely beating up people of color, the right wing media — and thus the media at large — could blame the victims. But when a Trump aide attacked a white, conservative reporter … then there was a problem.
That’s hardly surprising. If there’s one issue that will get the media activated … it’s a story about themselves….
One would hope so, and I a m seeing some discussion of it in various media. I also think the right wing media is rather hoping the story about Breitbart dies down so they can get back to their Trump devotionals.
Conservative media is as fractured and broken as the Republican Party. I have no idea of their readership but by now I’m guessing the Trump voters just need short videos of an angry Donald. It’s enough for them that he hates who they hate.
Think progress has the Trump line on the Fields event. Just some histarical woman. .http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2016/03/10/3758686/trump-campaign-accuses-assaulted-reporter-of-lying/
Oh come on!
They know no shame.
No mud hole is too low or slick for them.
