Welcome back to Tuesday’s Tale, a weekly feature where we collaborate to write a story. Previous Tuesday’s Tales include Ratman and Flyswatter vs. Doomerang! and Super(hero) Tuesday! We follow the basic rules of the “Yes, And” improvisational game – accept everything written so far as part of the story, and add your own paragraph (or so) where the last addition left off – except you needn’t begin your addition with “Yes, and.” I’ll start the story….
“I didn’t say go yet!” Ache objected as she flew off in pursuit.
“I’ll get there before both of you,” Sneeze said, flying up the nostril.
“Who cares?” Fever replied with a shrug. “You’re just a cold germ!”
“True,” Sneeze replied, “but what if this person had a flu shot? Then you’ll get squashed and I’ll still work.”
“Flu shot, schmu shot,” Ache said. “I’m not afraid of an antibody or two.”
“Maybe not one or two,” Sneeze said. “But what a few million, huh?”
