This week I deleted approximately eleventy bazillion fundraising emails. I’m not saying they’re excessive. I’m just noting that if I haven’t hit the ‘Donate Now’ button on the first six emails from a given candidate on a given day, the odds are good that I also won’t hit that button on the seventh, tenth, or twentieth emails … from that candidate … on that day.
I would, however, respond to a phone bank invitation….
I agree. Ask me to volunteer on a phone bank, and I’m there. Too many solicitations for money. I was swamped in them.
Thank you for your activism, Winter! 🙂
I have time to offer. Money, not so much….
I made phone calls for about 4 hours to people on my list on Saturday for Alex Law. He had a phone bank, and about 25 people showed up throughout the day. It was great. He, also, brought in Pizza for us. I left a lot of messages.
Thank you for your activism, Terri! 🙂 That sounds like a very well-run phone bank!
It was excellent. One of his volunteers works at a call center, and her employer was nice enough to let us use the facility. We, OFA-SJ, used that facility sometimes in 2012 to make phone calls.
