Midday Matinee is our people watching, people doing and people being feature. Join the Woodland Creatures for an afternoon break.
Welcome back to Tuesday’s Tale, a weekly feature where we collaborate to write a story. Previous Tuesday’s Tales include Under the Tree and Old Long Sigh. “Isn’t the better question,” Frank began, “whether Winter Extreme Wear employees will actually work in winter extremes?”
Gina sighed, then paused to wipe the fog from her glasses. “Of course we’ll work. That’s what this gear was designed for.”
“I heard they’re gonna pipe in snow this afternoon,” Jane said. “And turn the ventilation fans up to blizzard winds.”
“I love our commitment to quality control,” Irving enthused. “That’s why I work here. And I gotta say, these elbow-length mittens keep my hands toasty warm.”
“They do,” Frank admitted. “But how are we supposed to use our keyboards?”
