Today Jeb Bush said he will “phase out” Medicare for Americans not yet receiving benefits. Also, Donald Trump said he’ll “have to see how I’m being treated by the Republicans” and may run as a third-party candidate “if they’re not fair.” Meanwhile, an ABC News/Washington Post poll found Trump’s support mostly among the 37% who oppose immigration reform, and a PPP poll found his lead slipping since he insulted John McCain’s war service. Will the Trump Card generate what Frank Luntz warns will be “the worst mudslinging in modern American politics?”
