Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today on Nation This Fox Meet Union, Secretary of State John Kerry said the U.S. will negotiate with Syria and also called the Cotton Letter “incorrect” and “unprecedented,” adding he won’t apologize to the Iranian delegation for an “unconstitutional, un-thought-out action by somebody who’s been in the United States Senate for 60 something days.” But Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK) said he has no regrets and Sen. Roy Blount (R-MO) insisted “No deal is better than a bad deal.” Should the GOP policy primer be titled No Negotiations, No Regrets, No Matter What?

“should be titled?” I thought that was what it was titled! Along with “never admit you were wrong.”
Actually, they could shorten it to No, No, No and do just as well. But I was happy to read Secretary Kerry’s response. I especially liked his refusal to apologize for “an unconstitutional, un-thought-out action by somebody who’s been in the United States Senate for something like 60 days.” Zing….
Wow! Who knew the GOP had a policy primer?
It is hard to write a primer using a limited vocabulary. When you teach with a primer “No” should be enough. Constitutional responsibilities are beyond primer level.
“…60 something days.” – – – DING! 🙂 🙂 🙂
