Today the U.S. Senate released a report on the Bush-era torture program, whose findings included the CIA hiring interrogators with admitted histories of sexual assault. The Daily Beast spotlights the “nightmarish” findings and Politico Magazine’s Mark Fallon emphasizes the finding that torture did not yield valuable intelligence. But the Wall Street Journal says former CIA directors disagree, and Fox News’ K.T. McFarland dismissed the report as “the apology tour on steroids.” Should President Obama preemptively pardon President Bush and the torturers?
