Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today President Obama urged the FCC to continue net neutrality and treat the internet as a public utility. The Free PressCraig Aaron wrote “THIS IS HUGE” and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) stood with the president, but Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) called it “Obamacare for the internet” and Matt Drudge said President Obama is “embracing his inner tyrant.” Yet net neutrality is the status quo and Gizmodo’s Kate Knibbs says Sen. Cruz is both “dumb” and “dangerous.” Has President Obama “poisoned the good name of net neutrality just by endorsing it it?”
