This week I canvassed for Florida State House candidate Beverly Ledbetter and county commission candidate Erika Remsberg. It was lit-drop canvassing – leaving information packages on doorknobs – but I met several voters along the way. All said they planned to vote this year, and all said they were going to vote for Democrats.

I also worked in our county coordinated campaign office, where I phone banked for State Rep. Amanda Murphy. The people I spoke with also planned to vote, and said they would vote for Democrats.

We also had our fall fundraiser, a Salute to Labor headlined by Lieutenant Governor candidate Annette Taddeo. It was an energetic and very successful event, honoring local labor leaders and our local and state candidates.

And our local Democrats have begun phone banking for Charlie Crist, our candidate for Governor. This will be a very close race, and you can help us turn Florida blue.
