Midday Matinee is our people watching, people doing and people being feature. Join the Woodland Creatures for an afternoon break.

Welcome back to Tuesday’s Tale, a weekly feature where we collaborate to write a story. Previous Tuesday’s Tales include Fore! and Tropical Storm Coochiecoo. “I still have concrete specks from when he set the mailbox,” Bucket said, looking down into its not-very-depths. “They itch.”

“It does itch,” Mixer agreed. “That’s why I have a liner to protect my skin.”

“Aww,” Komatsu said. “I bet the Big Guy would get Bucket a liner if we asked. He got me a new hat. It’s fluffy and soft.”

Little Plow snorted. “That’s a seat cover.”

Have fun!
