This week I voted by mail in our primary election. I enjoy voting by mail, especially in primary elections, because they include local judges and other offices where I don’t know the candidates. Because I was voting at home, I could look up the candidates’ credentials, as well as news articles and endorsements. If your state allows voting by mail – they may call it “no-excuse absentee voting” or some similar phrase – take advantage of it and urge your local Democratic Party organizations and candidates to make it a priority in their campaign planning.
