The Senate races in Kentucky and Georgia offer some hope for Democrats. Allson Lundergan-Grimes leads Mitch McConnell by 4 points in Kentucky. Even Obama is slightly more popular than McConnell. In Georgia Democrat Michelle Nunn faces a field of Republicans described as Todd Aiken 2.0. Neither of these races were even toss-ups. Is David Axelrod right that Democrats should be focused on 2014 and not 2016?
