“Let’s call the meeting to order,” Walter said.

“Ommmm,” Vicki agreed. (More)

Midday Matinee is our people watching, people doing and people being feature. Join the Woodland Creatures for an afternoon break.

Welcome back to Tuesday’s Tale, a weekly feature where we collaborate to write a story. Previous Tuesday’s Tales include The Theatrical Society and The Real Estate Ad. Ungar and Xavier joined the meeting. “Ommmm.”

Samantha looked at Tim. “So what’s going on?”

“Ommmm,” Walter said.

“I guess we could get coffee,” Tim suggested.

“Ommmm,” Vicki moved.

Samantha nodded. “Or go for lunch.”

“Ommmm,” Xavier seconded.

“Kinda early for lunch,” Tim said.

“Ommmm,” Ungar agreed.

“Call it brunch, then,” Samantha said.

“Ommmm,” Walter said, turning a page.

“That diner on Ninth has brunch,” Tim agreed.

“Ommmm,” Ungar objected.

Rebecca walked in. “What have I missed?”

“Ommmm,” Vicki replied.

“We’re thinking brunch,” Samantha said.

Rebecca nodded. “Yummm.”

Have fun!
