Today Mitt Romney told the NAACP: “If it were possible to fully communicate what I believe is in the real, enduring best interest of African-American families, you would vote for me for president.” Yet he promised to repeal the Affordable Care Act and opposed marriage equality – both of which the NAACP support – and backs voter ID laws that could block 1-in-4 black voters. How can Romney believe he knows what’s best for blacks when he doesn’t listen to black communities?
