Tonight’s Campus Question
In 1993, Newt Gingrich wrote that blacks don’t understand entrepreneurship. Sunday’s Washington Post discussed their survey finding that one-third of black women work in management or professional jobs, and the number of black women entrepreneurs doubled in the last decade. American Interest presented such women in contrast to a general “dependence of African Americans on government and quasi-government employment,” and their commenters argued those women took opportunities from white men. So who feels “entitled” in Mitt Romney’s “entitlement society?”
