|Tonight’s Campus Question|
Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsay Graham (R-SC) issued a statement late Sunday night that they were pleased with fall of Muammar Gaddafi’s regime. “But,” they added, “we regret that this success was so long in coming due to the failure of the United States to employ the full weight of our airpower.” Slate‘s Fred Kaplan called the statement “truly obnoxious.” Was six months too long for Libyans to free themselves, and would more U.S. airstrikes have helped Libyans free themselves faster?
Good evening and fist bumps! (but feel free to ::hugggg:: amongst yourselves).
