Florida Governor Rick Scott has ordered an investigation of into the deletion of his transition team’s emails, which may have violated Florida law. The emails were deleted when the private firm handling Gov. Scott’s transition closed the account after his inauguration. Christopher Kise, who worked on the transition team, says almost all of the emails have been recovered and blamed the deletion on “a chaotic transition run by a largely out-of-state staff still learning Florida law and unfamiliar with the technology that ran the e-mail system.” Is this a failure of outsourcing, or just a trivial and now-corrected mistake?
Good evening and fist bumps! (but feel free to ::hugggg:: amongst yourselves).
