Tonight’s Campus Question
Zero-tolerance rules in high school have been called too harsh by some and necessary to keep students safe by others. A recent report from Philadelphia says “zero tolerance” policies are particularly harmful to minority students and creates a School-to-Prison pipeline. What is the proper balance between school safety and keeping troubled youth in school where they may be able to get help?
