Living Our Progressive Values
Our Progressive agenda:
1. People matter more than profits.
• Corollary: Each person matters … equally.
2. The earth is our home, not our trash can.
3. We need good government for both #1 and #2.
As we move into the contemplative time of year, we should think about how we can live our Progressive Values.

Morning Feature: Lessons Learned, Part I – Assessing the Challenge
On Tuesday, our party lost about 60 seats in the U.S. House, and 6 seats in the Senate. We also lost 9 or so governors’ mansions and some state legislatures. (Some races are still being counted.) It was a thumping, no question.
The question is what we learn from it. Not They, but We. (More)

William and Mary married today (1677). Also, Mozart’s Symphony #36 debuted, the Erie Canal was completed (1825), the University of Washington opened (1864), and Howard Carter found Tutankhamen’s tomb (1922). And the Netherlands began Car Free Sundays, due to the Yom Kippur War and subsequent oil embargo (1973).
Greetings and social banter here.
Good morning! ::hugggggs::
