I am thinking that lawns are part of the problem of climate change denial. If you’ve taken a walk through a city or suburban neighborhood you may appreciate what I’m talking about. Green, weed free, well manicured and very well tended lawns cover the front yards. (More)

I visited Greece in March of 1979 and have memories of a warm and hospitable people. I have nothing to add about their economic woes but I don’t want to lose sight of the wonderful people who live in my memories. I feel for them now. (More)
