Campus Question – February 2, 2013

Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today Punxsatawney Phil, the world’s most famous squirrel meteorologist, predicted that spring is just around the corner. While some argue that Phil’s predictive record is something less than exact, and Phil plays along to be polite, in fact he uses NOAA data to decide when to crawl out of his hole. As groundhogs have other names, the Squirrel offers one of Phil’s favorite math problems: How much would could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

There is actually a scientific answer for this math question, but I prefer this one. None of this, by the way, is related to the Betty’s bit of bitter batter … but a bit of butter made the bitter batter better.
