Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)
Today Scott Brown texted to the Boston Herald that he would not run for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Secretary of State John Kerry, adding “U are the first to know.” Brown later released a statement saying “I have received a lot of encouragement from friends and supporters to become a candidate, and my competitive instincts were leading in the same direction.” Brown also criticized Congress for being too partisan, and said he will look for another way to “advance the causes and interests that matter most to me.” So, Bqhatevwr?

The punditocracy are saying Brown is planning to run for Governor of Massachusetts. Maybe so. I think he wants to spend more time on Twitter.
Yeah. #Bqhatevwr.

It must really suck to be a Republican like Mitch McConnell who thought he had a great idea to get Scott Brown (and another Republican) back into the Senate, only to have it fall apart like that.
Oh, in other news, today was Hillary Clinton’s last day as Secretary of State, and we all wish her well as she moves on to the next stage of her career.

I am relieved that Scott Brown is not running. Maybe he can get a gig lobbying for pickup trucks for the privileged. I think that was is ‘everyman’ symbol.
