Campus Question – January 27, 2013

Tonight’s question, greetings, and banter here. (More)

Today on CBS’ Face the Nation, Newt Gingrich told Republicans to “listen very carefully to Marco Rubio” on immigration reform, while Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) told ABC’s This Week that “We are losing dramatically the Hispanic vote, which we think should be ours.” Meanwhile, on NBC’s Meet the Press, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) said “the sequester will happen because the Democrats have opposed our efforts to replace those cuts with others and they’ve offered no alternatives.” What did you discuss on Meet This Week’s Face?

We talked about haunted forests, including the Schwarzwald in southern Germany. I’ve been there, though I didn’t see any gnomes or ghosts or other hidden beings. Which just proves how well they hide!

On, and The Usual People said The Usual Things on the Sunday talk shows. Bqhatevwr. ;-)

Nice phrasing by McCain- the Hispanic vote, which we think should be ours.” smacks a bit of the ownership society don’t you think?

Actually, I have given up on the Sunday morning stuff until they hold a multi-network same feed show for John McCain’s retirement from the Senate and the Sunday morning babblethon. That I might tune in for.

President Obama and Secy of State Clinton are on 60 minutes tonight. I want to watch that interview. 7 ET.

Hmm.. well, I was talking about Opportunity, which is starting it’s 10′th year on Mars. Not bad for something that was only supposed to last 90 days.
